In Kris Bernal's latest YouTube upload, the Kapuso actress posted a mukbang video where she ate food sent to her by small businesses which she supports.

While munching on all kinds of food, Kris also hosted a Q&A session where she answered questions from her Instagram followers. One of the questions Kris received from her followers was if she ever fell in love with her love team partner Aljur Abrenica.

According to Kris, "Naging love team kami ni Aljur 'nung StarStruck pa lang, 17 years old ako noon, 'di ako na-in love sa kaniya. Pero 'nung nag-work na kami, aaminin ko, na-in love ako sa kaniya pero may girlfriend siya.

"'Di naman ako 'yung type ng tao na ano porke't type kita maninira ako? Never ako nagkaroon ng ganoong issue kung mapapansin n'yo. Wala akong issue na ganyan sa mga lalaki. No, hindi ako ganoong klaseng girl so kahit gusto kita, kahit nai-in love na ako sa'yo, mataas ang respeto ko sa relationship mo.

"I did fall in love with Aljur. Araw-araw mo ba naman kasi kasama tapos 'yung mga eksena n'yo sweet-sweetan. Tapos you know, siyempre when you're acting, may truth doon 'eh. You have to feel 'yung truth sa heart mo 'eh while you're acting. So hindi naman siya na parang lagi kaming sweet on TV sa mga eksena namin and then parang wala kang nararamdaman. Kailangan may maramdaman ka 'eh. Ewan ko, ganoon ako as an artista, kailangan may hint of truth sa mga eksenang ginagawa ko so yes, na-in love ako sa kaniya.

"Matagal na 'yon She-zums, okay? Move on na tayo. Engaged na ako and yes, may family na siya."

At that time, Aljur was in a relationship with fellow StarStruck alumni Rich Asuncion.

Now, Aljur has his own family with Kylie Padilla while Kris is engaged to her non-showbiz partner, Perry Choi.

In one of her previous vlogs, Kris took a trip down memory lane where she looked back at the highlights of her career. When she watched her first-ever lead role with Aljur, she suddenly became emotional as she remembered all her struggles in showbiz.
